This delicious grape cake is a wonderful way to use fragrant grapes!

Ingredients:

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon date filling
  • 1½ small tea glasses (about 150 ml) buckwheat flour
  • 1 dessert spoon coconut oil
  • 1 sachet baking powder
  • 12-15 grapes (to add to the cake batter)
  • 15-20 grapes (for the top)

Method:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  2. Whisk the eggs and date purée in a bowl.
  3. Add the buckwheat flour, coconut oil and baking powder and whisk again.
  4. Add 12-15 grapes, crushing them as you add them to the mixture.
  5. Pour the prepared cake batter into a glass baking dish lined with baking paper.
  6. Place 15-20 grapes on top.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes, until the top is nicely golden.
  8. You can check the inside of the cake with a toothpick. If the toothpick comes out clean, the cake is ready.
