Online Nutritionist in Qatar (Doha)

Online consultations in English for clients in Doha and across Qatar, in the same time zone as Istanbul: pregnancy nutrition, weight management and more.

Looking for a nutritionist in Qatar who works in English and fits around your schedule? Online consultations let you work with a specialist dietitian from home in Doha, Al Wakrah, Al Rayyan or anywhere else in the country. I am Nazlı Gülşah Doğan, a specialist dietitian (MSc, Yeditepe University) based in Istanbul, and I support clients in Qatar by video call, with a focus on pregnancy nutrition, weight management and nutrition alongside medical treatment.

Same Time Zone, Easy Scheduling

Istanbul and Doha are both on GMT+3 (Arabia Standard Time in Qatar), so there is no time difference to work around. Sessions can be planned before work, at lunchtime or in the evening, including weekend-friendly times. All sessions are held in English.

What We Can Work on Together

How Online Sessions Work

You start by completing a nutrition assessment form about your health history, daily routine, food preferences and goals, and you can share recent blood test results. In the first video session we go through your answers and agree on priorities. I then prepare a personal plan that suits your working hours, family meals and the foods available in Qatar's supermarkets and restaurants.

Between sessions you record simple measurements at home with a scale and tape measure and send questions over WhatsApp. At each follow-up we review how the plan is working in real life and adjust it. More details are on the online dietitian consultations page.

Practical Planning for Life in Qatar

Daily life in Qatar shapes how and when people eat: long working days, eating out and delivery, social gatherings, travel, and the summer heat that makes hydration and outdoor activity harder to plan. We take all of this into account, from quick breakfasts and packed lunches to choosing balanced options at restaurants. During Ramadan, your meal pattern can be adapted around suhoor and iftar if fasting is suitable for you; if you are pregnant or have a medical condition, please discuss fasting with your doctor first.

Pregnant and Living in Qatar?

Being pregnant far from family can raise many questions about food. Online pregnancy sessions help you plan meals for nausea, heartburn or constipation, follow healthy weight gain as monitored by your doctor, eat safely (for example fish choices, food hygiene and caffeine), and get nutrition support if you are diagnosed with gestational diabetes. Please Note

Consultations take place online from Istanbul, in English. I am a specialist dietitian trained in Türkiye and I do not hold a Qatar Ministry of Public Health licence. Online nutrition counselling complements, and does not replace, the care of your doctor in Qatar. For diagnosis, medication and urgent health problems, please contact your doctor or local healthcare provider. Results vary from person to person.
