Explicit Consent

Updated:

In short: This page explains when we rely on your explicit consent to process your health information and contact data. Giving consent is optional, and you can withdraw it at any time.

1. When this applies

We process your personal data as described in our Privacy Notice. Health data within your nutrition counselling is processed by a dietitian bound by professional confidentiality under Article 6/3 of Türkiye's Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK). The following may fall outside that scope, so we ask for your explicit consent:

  • Health information you choose to share before counselling has started, for example through the website forms, WhatsApp, email or social media messages (such as height, weight, conditions, medicines, pregnancy or test results), so that we can review your request and reply.
  • Occasional transfers abroad of personal and health data you share through the communication and video tools you choose (WhatsApp / Meta, Zoom, Google Meet, email), because their servers are located outside Türkiye (KVKK Article 9/6).

I have read and understood the Privacy Notice, and I know when I can receive services without giving explicit consent. On this basis, I freely give my explicit consent to:

  • the processing of health information I choose to share through the website forms, WhatsApp, email and similar channels, in order to review my request, reply to me and plan my nutrition counselling; and
  • the occasional transfer of my personal and health data shared through my chosen communication and video tools to the countries where their servers are located.

On the website forms you give this consent by ticking the "I give my explicit consent" box. It can also be given in writing at the start of counselling, in the office or online, or by a message we keep on record. We record the date and channel of your consent.

Not giving consent does not stop you from receiving counselling. In that case, please do not share health information in your first message; your health information will then be processed only after counselling starts and only as needed for the service, under Article 6/3 of the KVKK. If you do not agree to transfers abroad, we can hold consultations by phone or in person at the office.

You can withdraw your consent at any time without giving a reason by emailing [email protected] or writing to us. Withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before it. See the Privacy Notice for your other rights and how to exercise them.
