Andulation Therapy

Andulation therapy combines mechanical vibration with infrared light. Find out how it works, how sessions are planned and who it is not suitable for.

Andulation Therapy

Andulation therapy is a device-based method that combines mechanically generated vibration with infrared light. It offers 20 different programmes, so a session plan can be tailored to the individual. It is also used as part of regional slimming plans, together with a nutrition programme.

What is andulation?

andulation therapyThe andulation system is made up of mechanically stimulated vibration and infrared light. Its basic principle is to stimulate blood and lymph circulation. It is used with the aim of stimulating cell metabolism and the body's own renewal processes, through mechanical vibration, infrared rays and different frequencies.

Andulation is used to support fluid movement in the body and relaxation, and, in regional slimming plans, to accompany a nutrition programme. It is a method used for a number of different purposes.

What is andulation used for?

Andulation therapy acts as a stimulus on the venous and lymphatic systems, supporting the movement of fluid in the tissues. Because of this, extra care should be taken with water intake during the course of sessions.

Effects usually described for the technology include:

  • A feeling of having more energy
  • Support for blood circulation and lymph flow
  • Relaxation of tense muscles
  • Support for a regular sleep routine
  • A feeling of less tiredness

Individual experiences differ.

Is andulation harmful?

Andulation therapy moves a notable amount of fluid in the body, so you should drink plenty of water around your sessions. Suitability is checked in a preliminary assessment before sessions begin.

Who is andulation not suitable for?

The Andumedic 3 Pro should not be used during pregnancy or by people with a pacemaker. For anyone else, suitability is decided in the preliminary assessment.

How does it work?

The andulation system combines mechanically stimulated vibration with infrared light. It acts on the venous and lymphatic systems, with the aim of supporting the body's own renewal and repair processes.

Five principles described for andulation

  1. Cell energy: the therapy produces micro-currents that are described as stimulating ATP, the body's energy source, in the cells.
  2. Comfort: regular sessions are described as supporting the release of endorphins, the body's natural pain-relieving messengers.
  3. Circulation: the vibration is intended to speed up blood circulation and so help nutrients reach the tissues, which may leave you feeling less tired.
  4. Muscle relaxation: wider blood vessels allow more blood to reach the muscles, which is intended to ease muscle tension.
  5. General well-being: regular sessions are described as supporting the body's overall balance.

Areas where it is used

Andulation programmes are used in regional body-shaping plans, for circulation and lymphatic flow, for relaxation and stress-related tension, in sleep routines, and for muscle and joint discomfort. It does not replace medical diagnosis or treatment; if you have a health condition, please speak to your doctor first.
