Step Into 2021 with 2 Fit Tips

As we live through the last months of 2020, it will do all of us good to start dreaming about the new year already. While we wish for health, wellbeing, peace and calm, it is worth asking "what more can we do for ourselves?" and making a few decisions. In fact, the formula is simple: more movement, healthy eating, and dealing as quickly as possible with the things that stress us ☺

Create your own eating pattern.

The internet is a huge library at our fingertips. It takes a few seconds to find plenty of content about diets: what they are, how they work, how many kilos they supposedly take off. Sadly, it is also the place where the most misinformation is found. Every individual is unique, so diets are personal too. By taking into account a person's working hours, needs, social life and biological parameters, you can build a lasting eating pattern with a specialist and put aside the idea of a lifelong diet.

One of the most valuable things you can bring into 2021 is to make healthy eating a lifestyle.

Try to set realistic goals.

A diet programme that starts with determination and good excitement is held back from reaching its goal by inconsistent targets. Losing 15 kilos in a month is simply not realistic, and even if it were possible, it could not be achieved in a healthy way. What matters is health, so do not turn to methods that harm your health in order to get rid of extra weight. Because it should not be forgotten that everything we do in this life is for our health ☺

A realistic goal gives you a feeling of success every day. When you say "Today I will exercise for 30 minutes" and then do it, you feel successful and motivated. When you do it again on the second day you succeed again, and when you repeat it on the third and fourth days, you have achieved success 4 times in a week.

Focus on the fact that every step you take on the road to being fit counts as a success. If you do the opposite, every move in the weight management process turns into exhausting effort. After a while you may give up and feel unhappy.

The result: focus on what you need to do each day, and be aware of the uplifting effect of effort.
